A report released by the Bank of Korea on Friday stated that the upward cycle of the chip manufacturing industry may continue until the first half of next year or even longer, thereby boosting South Korea\’s exports.
The report stated that driven by the booming development of artificial intelligence, the global chip manufacturing industry rebounded early last year. Its upward cycle may be longer than expected.
The report said that demand for semiconductors in servers, mobile phones and personal computers may continue to increase. But supply may be relatively limited.
The Bank of Korea stated that the upward cycle of the global chip manufacturing industry will help South Korea\’s chip exports, thereby promoting overall exports.
