Net profit was 209.217 billion yen, while the loss in fiscal year 2022 was 789.801 billion yen.
Results for fiscal year 2023: Net sales were 6.76 trillion yen, an increase of 2.8% compared with 6.57 trillion yen in fiscal 2022.
Cost of sales was 3.21 trillion yen, compared with 3.24 trillion yen in fiscal 2022.
Gross profit was 3.54 trillion yen. Gross profit in fiscal year 2022 was 333 million yen.
The pre-tax profit was 57.801 billion yen, while the pre-tax loss in fiscal year 2022 was 469.127 billion yen.
Net profit was 209.217 billion yen, while the loss in fiscal year 2022 was 789.801 billion yen.
The net loss attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 227.646 billion yen, while the loss in fiscal year 2022 was 970.144 billion yen.
Basic loss per share was 170.99 yen. Basic loss per share in fiscal 2022 was 652.37 yen.
Diluted loss per share was 174.20 yen, while diluted loss per share in fiscal 2022 was 662.41 yen.
In fiscal year 2023, SoftBank’s investment loss was 559.4 billion yen. In fiscal year 2022, its investment loss was 835.1 billion yen.
SoftBank Vision Fund (SVF) suffered an investment loss of 167.3 billion yuan (excluding gains related to SVF’s investment in SoftBank subsidiaries).
Including SVF\’s investment income in ARM and other subsidiaries. The SVF unit earned 724.3 billion yen in investment income in fiscal 2023.
As of March 31, 2024, SoftBank Group’s total assets were 46.72 trillion yen.
And as of March 31, 2023, it was 43.94 trillion yen.
As of March 31, 2024, SoftBank’s cash flow from operating activities was 250.547 billion yen. Cash flow from investing activities was -841.461 billion yen. Cash flow from financing activities was -606.222 billion yen.
As of March 31, 2024, SoftBank had 6.19 trillion yen in cash and cash equivalents, compared with 6.93 trillion yen as of March 31, 2023.
