Honda plans to invest 10 trillion yen over ten years to develop electric vehicles

Honda Motor Co. said on Thursday it plans to invest about 10 trillion yen (approximately $64.56 billion) in its electric vehicle strategy over the 10 years to 2030.

The company said it will invest in research and development funds and capital expenditures in major markets such as the United States, Canada, and Japan. It will also invest in motorcycle electrification.
