Boeing and NASA recently announced that the new Starliner spacecraft will conduct its first manned flight test on the evening of Monday (May 6) local time.
Both Boeing and Musk\’s SpaceX first won contracts from NASA in 2014 to develop spacecraft to transport astronauts to the International Space Station.
SpaceX has been regularly transporting passengers on its Crew Dragon spacecraft since 2020.
Musk posted on the X platform on Monday: Although Boeing received $4.2 billion to develop the astronaut capsule, SpaceX only received $2.6 billion. But SpaceX completed it 4 years earlier than Boeing.
Please note that the Crew Dragon 2 crew module design has almost nothing in common with Crew Dragon 1.
